Bosch 16073 Oxygen Sensor Review

There is not much I can say about the Bosch Sensor. It is the successor to model 16406. I don't know what was changed or improved but when you look up this sensor make sure to get the newest version, which is 16073.

Anyhow down to the Sensor, it fits perfectly in my Audi a6 2002 4.2 engine. They included an extra connector which you can wire into if needed (half square vs. oval corners) but in my cases it was not needed. The sensor has the same wire coating as my old one and works perfectly.

Great buy.

Monroe 171505 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly Review

I purchased these Monroe quick-struts 2 1/2 years ago to replace a broken coil spring on my wife's 02 Focus (a common problem for that vintage Focus, thanks Ford). They were ideal for my situation because I got the whole spring/strut assembly for about what I would have paid for just springs. As a bonus, I didn't have to mess around with compressing the springs, as it was just a matter of bolting the new assembly into place. They were an exact replacement fit and they ride the same as the stock spring/struts (note: the car seemed to ride 'higher' for a few months, but the springs have since settled in). I would have reviewed them earlier but after installing them, I began hearing faint suspension related noises and held off until I tracked down the source. That turned out to be a failing motor mount (again, thanks Ford). Long story short, I completely forgot to review these struts. So with the hindsight of 2 1/2 years and 28,000 miles, I can report they are still working beautifully. No leaks at the struts, springs are in good shape, and an overall stock like handling suspension.
