My 97 Miata with almost 200k miles needed a freshening up. I used the AGX shocks with Eibach lowering springs and sway bars, A set of Prothane urethane bushings, and some new bump stops. I installed it all in my garage in a weekend without too much trouble. My car sits about 1-1/2" lower, And looks much better, But it's incredible how well the whole suspension works together. The ride is firmer all around, but not harsh or jarring at all. I was a little worried that I would have to slow way down on RR crossings and such, but it just rides over them with zero drama. I had a chance to play on The Angeles Crest hwy with 3 Honda S-2000 s, They came up on me from behind,and obviously they are way faster, so I pulled to the side so they could pass, then I set off after them. In the twisties, the Miata was all over them, of course, once the road straightens out...bye bye Miata ! I have put about 2000 miles on now and I am enjoying my little go-kart more now with the new suspension than ever. If you decide to go with these shocks, don't forget the new bumpstops.
