Trans-Dapt 4100 Engine Swap Motor Mount Kit Review

These worked great for a 1960 Willy's CJ-3B conversion from the original F-Head engine over to a Chevy V6, 4.3Liter, TBI "Vortec" with 4-60E (Automatic Overdrive) transmission. There is also a "drilled frame holes" version of these mounts but I didn't see those at the same "low" price. besides, if you need to drill holes, just drill these. I'm going to weld.

If you are doing the same conversion, MOCK ALL PARTS before doing any final drilling or welding. ALWAYS be sure to have proper support for any heavy metal parts so that no one gets hurt!! (Jack Stands, engine hoists, etc...)

TYC 1-17534 Toyota Camry Replacement Starter Review

I am an aircraft mechanic and like others who have reviewed these TYC starters, I was little skeptical about the quality and fit versus the Denso factory OEM versions. However, after installing 2 of these in 2 different 1998 RAV4 engines, I can tell you that they fit and work perfectly. Further, besides being much cheaper than the factory Denso starter, they come with test paperwork and do not require a core return. Some reviewers have written that they sound a little different or don't start quite as quickly. I have found that they do make a little higher-pitched whine on starting, but I think it's from the higher RPM on start and is not really that bothersome once you get used to it. Both of mine start the engine more quickly and not less than the original, which no doubt is in part due to the age of the old starters. So in my opinion, these TYC starters are an EXCELLENT choice for both money savings and quality replacement.

...made in china; 4 my '96 F250; the x-tra connector is 4 if your old one(female end ) is rusted out or damaged;
i just had to loosen two bolts to drop my tank down 2in.; you can use a flat head (and hammer) to remove the lock ring;when reinstall the lock ring, make sure to center it as much as possible( or use the orig. lock ring 4 the x-act fit.)
i did not know that my old pump was not pump. enough fuel pressure; now i can use 87 oct without the engine knock;
what a miracle; the excess fuel will flow back into the rear tank; my engine starts right up at first turn now (instead of 2 to 3 turns.) the rotten egg smell seems to be less as well...
