Daystar KF09124BK 2" Front Suspension Lift Coil Spring Spacer Kit with Hardware Review

First off, I installed Daystar's 1" Budget kit a few weeks ago. This kit includes a 1" polyurethane spacer and stud extensions, as shown in the description for that kit. That kit gave about a 1 3/8" lift. Unfortunately, since I also use Firestone air bags in the rear, that was not enough to fully level the truck. So I ordered this 2" kit to replace the shorter one. When the box arrived, I opened it up to see what the difference was...I was shocked to see the exact same 1" spacer and stud extensions that were already installed on my truck.
Either Daystar is pulling a fast one (selling a $101 kit with the same parts that a $38 kit has), or they screwed up royally on labeling the box as being a 2" kit with 1" parts inside. Shame on them either way. The sticker on the boxes have different part numbers, but identical parts inside. What's worse is I called Daystar to talk to the tech person and sat on hold for over 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the receptionist got back on the phone to get my number so the guy could call me back when he was done helping someone else. He never called.
I immediately got on Amazon to schedule pickup and return of this item. As of today I received email that my credit was being issued. I'm pretty ticked because my strut studs have already been cut to accommodate the extensions of the first kit, so now I pretty much have to go Daystar if I want a taller kit. The picture in the product description looks like it has a taller spacer than the 1" kit, but mine did not.
Make sure you are getting what you think you are before installing this kit. If yours has a 1" spacer, return it and purchase the economy kit for more than $60 less, or get one from another manufacturer if you need more lift than that.

Update: I have since replaced my 1" Daystar kit with the Tuff Country leveling kit, and had no issues with the installation. The shortened studs on the struts did require me to locktite the factory nuts when installing the new spacers, but no other issues at all. The steel spacers are much better than the polyurethane ones (that I found to be slightly compressed when removed after only 5 weeks on the truck). Also, installation is much easier with the steel spacers since no cutting or grinding of the factory strut studs is required. Quite displeased with Daystar at this point. At least I am happy with how my truck looks now that I have gone elsewhere.
