I replaced a Lucas Distributor with this unit last week. Excellent results. Car runs strong, like never before!
I have a 1983 HM Ambassador with a gasoline motor. Electrical parts are hard to come by, I did go through 2 Lucas-TVS distributors(abysmal quality, lousy performance) and 6 coils(ditto) by the same mfr in a year.
Pertronix distributor and coil seems to be the winning combination! My car is an engaging drive and is actually reliable.
