Better read up on installing this device. I wasn't sure it would control all steering wheel functions on my 2001 Durango till I received it. It does work cruise control and radio, but you better double check all connections or you may find yourself doing double duty. Online websites have some bad data out there and there is no instructions with this unit. Go to Library and read official shop manual. The Air Bag Safety is no issue if you disconnect battery, and wait five minutes for the capacitor discharge. Keep things aligned and work slowly. You need limited technical skills and common sense. Good project for a do it your self person who likes to work on cars. The weak spot in the design is the flex print. In my case the original clock spring failed, because the flex print cable had been crimped, probably when it was built. However, it lasted 12 years
