Thought the price was rather cheap considering also there was free shipping.. How good could it be, right..??
Installed the starter on a 1993 Johnson 115hp about a week ago and tried cranking the outboard in the yard... It worked..!!
Today I took the outboard out on the lake and feel like I gave the starter a pretty good workout.. It worked just like it's supposed to... It's hard to judge what's on the inside but the outside of the starter appears to be solidly built..
So far it beats paying the Johnson dealer $200 for one..
