I did not believe the ad when it said that Exedy makes clutches for the major Japanese car manufacturers. So I did some research online and it turns out it is true. They made the clutch in my 2003 Toyota Celica GT. The original clutch finally was starting to slip after ten years. Then I saw the price. $110. When I took it to my mechanic whom I trust, I told him the price I paid for it on Amazon and he said that he would have charged me $260 for the part and still $450 for labor. He only charged me for the labor and was not cranky that he did not supply the part, unlike Discount Tire who would not even touch a car with a manual transmission let alone somebody who brought their own part.

The key to buying car parts online is finding the right mechanic if you are not going to do the work yourself. Everyone told me a new clutch would be over $900 and I did it for $560 total, thanks to Amazon.
