As you are probably aware k&n performance products have been around a long time,and all their products are pricy.I purchase the 63-1126p intake kit for my 2009 harley sportster 1200,the shipping time was normal about a week.when Iopened it up I found the chromed intake tube had deep maching lines or grooves they may be described as ridges that were apparent through the chrome. I contacted k&n I was asked to send photos which I did, upon our discussion I was told they would send another out as soon as possible but that everyone he opened he could see the defect in each. two weeks later I received the replacement to my surprise it also had defects.I dont play games for long and to say that I'am disapointed is truly an understatement.I have recomended k&n for years to all my friends in the bike building scene.I intend to express my thoughts in an upcoming news letter for there is NO EXCUSE FOR THE POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS BEING PACKAGED BY K&N
