The first part sent to me never started the truck. I talked to the technician at Diesel Care and Performance (great company and technician Stewart) and he agreed it was defective out of the box and said "sometimes you get a bad apple in the bunch!" I say 1 bad apple spoils the bunch! The second PMD they sent ran for 2 hours then never started truck again. I talked to technician and he wanted to send me a third one but I said no more black ones. They sent me a grey "Stanadyne" brand PMD. The GM replacement part had Stanadyne on the parts diagram so hopefully this one will work. UPDATE: That grey PMD by Stanadyne HAS been working without any problems for a couple of weeks now. I don't recommend taking the chance with these black PMDs.
