Dynomax 39315 Stainless Steel Exhaust System Review

Product fit my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT (extended cab). This catback system is a straightforward install. Dynomax gives you all the hardware you need in this kit. This doesn't cost much more than the stock parts which is why I bought it. This muffler has a 'straight-through' design, so, it's pretty loud. There isn't much muffling going on. This doesn't bother me; loud pipes save lives :) . The muffler is stainless steel which yes, its corrosion 'resistant', but in the midwest, that means this muffler will last me 2 years tops (lots of snow and salt). The exhaust clamps are beefy, but my exhaust leaks a little with those. If this bothers you, I'd recommend regular clamps for your local autoparts store.

Though, unrelated to the parts Dynomax gives you, I had a problem with the exhaust flange being rusted to !#@$. Catback systems don't give you the flange (which is standard), but, if you have this problem, you might have to weld a flange/doughnut-thingy on the cat side. I was lucky enough to have a buddy weld it. If you can't weld, you probably need a new cat (which sucks).

Overall, good system. As long as you don't have a problem with the exhaust flange, you have all the parts you need in this cat-back kit. Good fit for the truck: its unrefined and loud.

Dorman 674-745 Cast Exhaust Manifold for Ford Truck Review

I purchased these manifolds to install on my 2001 F250 in conjunction with the new turbo up-pipe kit from international. There were no issues with fitment, the gaskets and/or hardware. I have had them on the vehicle for 2+ years without any issue. I painted the manifolds prior to installation. Purchase price from Amazon was far better than the prices I was quoted from my local auto parts stores.

Before you read any further, I should mention that this seller DID refund my full purchase price promptly but i don't want you to have to deal with the same confusion and waste of time that I did. This lighting kit is described as an HID Xenon Conversion Kit 9007 "Hi-Lo" 2 Bulbs -2 Ballasts. The problem is that only the Lo beam is HID. The Hi beam is a peanut bulb and is nearly worthless as a headlight. This company does sell an HID lighting kit with both beams utilizing HID lights but that one is called "Bi-Xenon". That's the only distinguishing reference in the title. So the problem is in the product description. The sellers told me they would fix the description on-line, but it looks like the old references are still up as of today (10-2-13). If you want the Hi and Lo beams to be HID, make sure you find the "Bi-Xenon" product.
