I just received this item today and after installation I must say I'm impressed. The short ram isnt all that loud like some people mention. The only time you can really notice it is when you floor it which reminds me of the old quadrojets from 20 years ago. I did notice a more responsive feel to it which is hard not to notice. In my opinion I feel the most noticable difference in more pep is mid range from 50-80mph. I have not had it long enough to say my opinion on whether or not gas mileage got better or worse, but I will let everybody know in a week.

Ok.....I have had several tanks of gas since I posted last and everytime I ran the tank down to where the gas light came on. I have a 2002 Honda Civic ex coupe 5 spd, and I got on average 27.3 miles per tank extra so this not only gives your car more power, but it also gives your car better gas mileage...Driving the car normal I was able to get 522.1 miles on one full tank of gas. Thank you K&N for a great product, and thank you Amazon.com for saving me money and safely getting my product to me quickly.
