Rancho RS999908 Quick Lift Loaded Strut Review

Hi, I have installed these shocks onto my sons 1995 Toyota Tacoma extended cab 4 WD and they fit and are working perfectly. I replaced the upgraded Fox shocks that came with my 2 inch lift kit from FabTech that were worn out. I set them at position 5 as recommended by Rancho and are a good stiffness. Setting the stiffness is done by the red knob at the bottom of the shock you will have 9 settings you will have to turn the knob clockwise till it stops and turn it back 5 clicks. They are painted a silver metallic and are a high quality shock. When installing them you might have a little difficulty getting one side more that the other because the gas tank was on the left side making it easier. I would recommend filling the gas tank before installing them because the extra weight helps when you are jacking up on the lower control arm to line up the lower bolt.
