I bought this muffler with the notion of a little bit of performance, but not sounding too loud, more of a solid sounding rumble. The MagnaFlow 12286 was exactly what I was looking for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I love the way it sounds.

Update: I've now had this muffler on for over 2 years, sounds just as good as the day I got it; however I did at a cool air intake, which made it a bit louder, but that was expected.
