Wolo 40 watt Generation 3 LED Strobe Light with Four Amber LED Heads features the Nexgen 8504 series of LED light kits. They have been designed for easy installation into a vehicle's composite headlight and taillight. The power supply has a state-of-the-art microprocessor, field proven to provide years of dependable service. There are fifteen advanced flash patterns to choose from, with the touch of a button on the control panel provided. Each LED head has eight omni-directional one watt generation 3 LEDs that are encapsulated for moisture and road vibration protection. The LED heads easily install into a 1 inch hole, which is drilled into the light assemblies. The rubber gasket provided, will ensure a watertight seal. The kit includes a heavy-duty four-outlet power supply with an operating voltage of 12 - 24 volts DC, four super bright LED heads with 6 inch wire lead and locking connector, four cables to connect the LED heads to the power supply, switch control panel, mounting hardware and easy to follow installation instructions. i wanted to go with corner strobes for my truck as i plow a few driveways and didn't want a roof mount strobe setup yet. i have to have amber lights, but i didnt want the glass strobes as the amber lights have a amber glass that i would see through my clear reverse light housing, so i came across these led's that wolo is now offereing. these lights are great; easy to install, i like the lesser power draw over the zenon strobes, and they're good quality. i will say though that because they are led's you have to set them up just right in the housings to get the brightest effect. these aren't as bright as zenon strobes, so be aware of that prior to purchase. that fact didnt bother me as i don't care how bright they were, i just needed to be legal, and i don't really use them during the daytime (this is where they are dimmer but still visible as compared to the zenon strobes) overall a great product for a great price.
