I bought this for my '04 Mustang 3.9L, thinking it was a great price. I started working on my car this past Saturday, May 25th at an Auto Hobby Shop. When I opened the box to get ready to install the part in to my fuel tank, I found that the stupid thing doesn't come with a strainer. I called several auto part stores that day asking for the strainer sold separately. Autozone, Napa, Carquest, and JK Auto all told me no, it's sold as part of the whole assembly (for whatever brand fuel pump they were selling). If that's so, then why doesn't Spectra do the same with theirs? Either find and buy the strainer that suppose to go with this thing or buy something else. I had to go out and buy another fuel pump with strainer include (for the same price) and now I'm in the process of returning the Spectra fuel pump.
